Laxman Chavan is currently working as Director, Clinical Programming & Insights – DM (CDI), AstraZeneca in India. In this role, he is accountable for establishing and expanding EDC programming, SAS programming, Analytics, Global Clinical Solutions & Standards team in India Hub.
Prior to working with AstraZeneca, Laxman worked with Novartis Healthcare Pvt. Ltd, where he was responsible for leading database programming team and overseeing the E2E data flow, Study Build automation, SDTM exports & many such innovative projects. He had brief stints with TCS (J&J engagement) and SIRO Clinpharm (Pfizer engagement) outside his Pharma experience.
Laxman is passionate about creating a highly efficient teams and looks for opportunities for process improvement & Innovation. He has completed Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Mumbai University, India.
