Ward Lemaire is the Head of Data Management Janssen R&D, accountable for all DM deliverables in the Janssen R&D portfolio and defines and shapes the Data Management Strategy.

Ward holds a master’s degree in Cell and Gene Biotechnology and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Biological sciences and is in the industry for +19 years.

Ward has lived in 3 continents; originally from Belgium but has also lived and worked out of China and now located in the US for the last 7 years out of Springhouse, PA. In his free time, Ward coaches basketball and loves spending quality time with his family.

Eboni is currently Executive Director and Global Head of Clinical Data Management FSP for Fortrea (previously Labcorp Drug Development).  She has been with the organization for just over 5 years but in the CDM industry for over 20 years inclusive of both CRO and pharma experience.

Eboni has been a CCDM since 2008 and active with the SCDM Annual Conference Leadership Froum for the past few years.

Executive Director, Clinical Data Sciences, Pfizer

As the Oncology and Rare Diseases Therapeutic Area Lead in the Clinical Data Sciences (CDS) organization at Pfizer, Catherine Célingant leads a team of Clinical Data Scientists and Data Managers responsible for timely and high-quality data management deliverables supporting the Pfizer Oncology and Rare Diseases portfolios.

Catherine has over 25 years of experience in Data Management, Clinical Informatics, and Medical Operations. Prior to joining Pfizer, Catherine worked at Millennium: The Takeda Oncology Company, where she successively led the Clinical Data Management and Clinical Systems, Medical Systems Innovative Technologies and Operations, and Medical Business Operations functions.

Catherine also worked at Accenture, Wyeth, Genetics Institute, and MTRA (AAI). Over the years, Catherine has been involved in several PhRMA, eClinical Forum and Transcelerate-sponsored groups working with other bio-pharmaceutical sponsors, regulators and other stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of research-enabling technologies such as EDC, ePRO, and eSource. Catherine holds a M.A. in Linguistics from Cornell University and an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Bordeaux, France.

Senior VP Biometrics, Spaulding Clinical

Brian Thornton brings strong leadership experience in the areas of biometrics, clinical and functional service provider (FSP) relationships to Spaulding Clinical.  Brian has a M.S. in Statistics and has a proven track record of driving quality and delivery in a manner that has exceeded customer expectations.

Brian provides strategic and tactical direction for the company’s biometrics activities for all projects including statistics, programming, data management, and medical writing.  He is also
responsible for building and managing client FSP relationships and partnerships within Biometrics at Spaulding Clinical.
